Join Shannon for a 90 minute practical session on pelvic floor and core strength health at Balance Fitness Studio at Align Healthcare in Horsforth.
We will discuss the anatomy and function of the pelvic floor and abdominal muscles, practice techniques on how to effectively engage these muscles and go through exercises to best strengthen these areas.
You'll leave with a better understanding of the importance of your pelvic floor and your core muscles, as well as practical exercises that you can incorporate into your routine. You will be provided handouts to refer to and sent a video demonstrating all of the exercises practised.

There will be physical activity involved with this workshop, please wear appropriate gym kit (loose or stretchy leggings and top - no shoes required).
